Child Abuse Protocol and GADEC Information Sessions
In August 2007, the GADEC partnered with the Georgia Office of Child Fatality Review to present Child Abuse Protocol and Drug Endangered Children information to Child Abuse Protocol members in the Lowndes, White, Bulloch and Carroll county vicinities.  Currently, a schedule is being drafted to continue these trainings beginning in January 2008.

Family Connections Information Sessions: Drug Endangered Children Teams
Between March and June of 2007, the GADEC presented to nearly 17 Family Connections Collaboratives.  Four other presentations were hosted for other organizations.  The information session included a 40 minute introduction to the GADEC Drug Endangered Children Teams.

Regional Trainings 2006: Working Together to Protect and Support Drug Endangered Children, their Families, and their Communities
Between July and November of 2006, the GADEC hosted 11 trainings throughout Georgia. Nearly 400 individuals participated, and offered valuable feedback for future GADEC trainings.
These trainings would not have been successful with out the help of our presenters, those who assisted in securing training venues, and especially those who volunteered their time to learn more about Georgia’s Drug Endangered Children.
